From 8 to 16 June 2019, six annual Indian cities (Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Hyderabad and Calcutta) hosted the annual Russian Educational Exhibition organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in cooperation with RusEducation.

The educational exhibition is a great opportunity for all Indian applicants to get acquainted with the Russian education system, university and teachers, representing theoretical and clinical disciplines.

The exhibition was attended by representatives of various state universities of the Russian Federation - Perm, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Tomsk, Tver, Kazan, Orenburg, etc., while not only the medical profile of training.

Our university was represented by the Rector, Professor I.V. Miroshnichenko, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Associate Professor A.O. Mironchev, Head of the Department of Children's Diseases, Professor L.Yu.Popova and Associate Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy L.O. Shalikova.

In each city, the exhibition was visited by more than 200 people, most of them - our future students, seeking to get a higher education in Russia. The meeting resulted in numerous applications for admission to our University from different states of India.

During the visit, working meetings were held with representatives of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India, employees of the Center for Science and Culture, as well as with heads of medical institutions in India.

In order to strengthen the partnership of the University with the clinics, a cooperation agreement was signed between Orsk State Medical University and the Max Healthcare Institution network of clinics, allowing 3rd and 4th year students to practice in India. The working visit of A.O. Mironchev at the Team Motivation Training School, where students of our university will now be able to prepare for the state qualification exam in India during the summer holidays. This training will increase the percentage of successful passing of the FMGE / MCI exam by our graduates.

Press conferences were held in various cities with journalists of the print, electronic and television media with the participation of all the delegates from Orsk State Medical University.

All participants expressed great hope for the strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and India in the field of education and medicine.
