The first ever draw of the All-Russian cricket tournament took place in Tver on May 5 - 8 on the eve of Victory Day.


The Russian Premier League was organized by the Center for International Education, headed by President Zaman Syed. This company is based in Tver and actively cooperates with various universities of the country, attracting students from India and other countries in Asia and Africa to Russia.

In India, cricket is sport number 1. Now, thanks to the Center for International Education, this fascinating game begins to actively develop in Russia.

The debut tournament gathered four teams at the Tver stadium of the Vagzhanov factory. For four days, Indian students from Tver, Perm, Yoshkar-Ola and Orenburg competed for the trophy.

- And this is just the beginning. Next year we plan to further expand the geography of participants and hold matches in different cities, including Moscow and St. Petersburg,

- said the director of the Center for International Education Chowdhury Md. Mizanur Rahman.

At this time, on the artificial field of the stadium, emotional and professional commentary boiled over frying passion. At the same time, according to the rules, cricket is close to Russian lapte and American baseball. In the future, it is planned to involve local students in the tournament.

During the breaks of the players and the audience, he charged the show ballet Amrapali from the Khimvolokno recreation center with additional energy.

According to the results of the preliminary and final matches, the fourth place was taken by the team of Perm State Medical University. Bronze won the students of the Mari State University. Silver winners were cricketers from Orenburg State Medical University.

The first champions in the history of the Russian Premier League in crickets were students of Tver State Medical University.

Zaman Sayed, President of the Center for International Education, Evgeny Pichuev, Chairman of the Tver City Council, Sergei Denisov, Deputy Chairman of the TGD, Mikhail Shvetsov, Rector of the Mari State University, Alexander Ivanov, Vice Rector of the Tver State Medical University, and others took part in the award ceremony.

The participants of the tournament poured rain prizes and gifts.
