In India, the first stage of the annual XIX All-India exhibition-fair "Russian education - 2018" was held.

The event was organized by Rossotrudnichestvo in India in cooperation with traditional partners - Indian educational companies: RusEducation and StudyAbroad. The annual event has already become the 19th fair of Russian education in India.
Representatives of 12 universities came to the educational fair in India: the Tver State Medical University, the Orenburg State Medical University, the Mari State University, the Perm State Medical University, the Siberian State Medical University, the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, the Ural Federal University, Belgorod State University, Volgograd State University, Far Eastern Federal University th District University, Orenburg State University and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

On June 25, a press conference of representatives of Russian universities for Indian media was held, at which delegates noted special, adapted conditions for Indian students, an increase in the number of higher education programs, including programs in English.

On June 27, the final part of the first stage of the educational exhibition-fair was held at the RCSC in New Delhi. As part of the event, the past education in the fields of education, science and culture in Chennai, Trivandrum, Mumbai and Calcutta.

This year, Russian universities first offered Indian applicants in the field of nuclear medicine and in the aerospace field in English. "A feature of the exhibition-fair of Russian education in India, including, among other things, in universities, including universities, where there are new educational institutions, for example, MIPT and MEPhI. makes their offer very competitive in the Indian market. Our universities understand their exclusivity, they know the directions where Russia is the leader, and are ready to teach Indian students also in English, "- said the head of Rossotrudnichestvo in India, Fyodor Rozovsky.

Professor of the National Research Center of the Center MEPhI Elena Sarapultseva, noted the readiness of the university, which prepares specialists on nuclear problems, to recruit the first Indian group of 50 people. For example, we know that nuclear power is developing in India. , radiation technologies, therefore we believe that the use of nuclear energy for various purposes will develop here, and not only in medicine, but also in agriculture and other spheres, "Elena Sarapultseva stressed.

For the first time, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, including the English-language Baccalaureate, three programs in Russian - biomedicine, computer technologies and the aerospace program, took part in this event.

At the same time, the majority of Indians are still going to Russia to study medical specialties, as medical professionals in India are among the highest paid specialists.

As in turn, the theme of the pro-rector for international activities of the Mari State University Irina Petrova, the interest of Indian youth in other specialties is gradually growing. "Our university already participates in such exhibition for the fourth time, now we already have more than 500 students from India, we always offer them training in English. The most demanded direction is medical. guys, "- said Petrova.

The second stage of the action "Russian education - 2018" is planned for June of this year.
