From 19 to 27 May 2018 in five major Indian cities will host the exhibition "Russian Education - 2018"

The main goal of the event is to present to Indian entrants the opportunities and advantages of higher education in Russia. The exhibition will be held in Chennai (May 19-20), Trivandrum (May 21), Mumbai (May 23), Calcutta (May 24) and New Delhi (May 27). Twelve higher educational institutions of Russia will take part in it, among them NIIU "MEPI", Ural Federal University, Far Eastern Federal University and others. Representatives of universities will tell Indian applicants about the rules and terms of admission, entrance examinations, faculties and programs of different levels, as well as about living conditions in Russia for foreign students.

The exhibition "Russian education - 2018" will take place in the buildings of Russian cultural centers: Chennai (Kasturi Road, Road 74); Trivandrum (Svyatoslav Roerich Street, post office of the University, TC 14 / 2004-06); Mumbai (H. Deshmukh street, 31-A); Calcutta (Gorky terraces street, 3); New Delhi (Ferozeshah Street, 24). Admission is free, but you must first register on the site of the event.

Russian higher education is gaining popularity in India. According to Rosstat, in 2015/2016 academic year, 5,300 Indian students studied at Russian universities; and in 2016/2017 - 6 600. Usually, Indians choose technical specialties related to nuclear physics, mathematics and IT, medical programs are also in demand.
