Kazan State Medical University entered the TOP-15 rating of the demand for higher education in Russia, which is carrying out the project "Social Navigator" MIA "Russia Today".
In 2017, the study included 448 universities from 81 regions, including 14 Tatarstan higher educational institutions. Criteria for evaluation were the demand for graduates, the commercialization of the intellectual product produced by the university, and the demand for research products.
State, departmental, municipal and private higher education institutions, which trained personnel in basic and additional programs of higher education, entered the university's demand for higher education. Among them there are 127 engineering universities, 89 classical universities, 54 agricultural universities, 61 universities from the sphere of administration, 69 liberal arts colleges and 48 medical universities. The study did not include branches, higher spiritual educational institutions, universities of culture and military profile.
In the top 15 most sought-after universities in the country, along with the Kazan State Medical University were also - KFU and KNITU-KHTI.
