On November 3, 2017, on the eve of the Day of National Unity, the teachers of the Russian Language Department held an event for the 2nd year students of the foreign faculty of students of the Orenburg State Medical University "In Friendship of Nations - Unity of Russia"
. Acquaintance with traditions began with a threshold - guests of the event were greeted with bread and salt by a teacher of the Russian language department in a Russian folk costume.
Teachers told about the state symbols of Russia - the meaning of the colors of the Russian flag, the features of the hymn and the coat of arms.
At the event, students not only looked at the costumes of Russians, Ukrainians, Tatars, Kazakhs, but also tried on their national clothes. Revival of the audience caused national fun: the students played in a "trickle," "skullcap."
Not without acquaintance with the main symbol of the Orenburg region - a downy shawl. The host demonstrated a cobweb and stretched an elegant white linen through the ring.
At the end of the celebration, a tasting of national dishes took place, such as the Tatar chak-chak, Kazakh baursaks, Russian kvass. Guys from India introduced the audience to their national dish chapatis - baked in a skillet tortillas, which are eaten with a variety of additives.
