SSMU founded more than 135 years ago, the university was originally formed as a research and educational center, developed here leading scientific schools in the field of surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, pathology, blood system, histology, pharmacology, microbiology and infectious diseases, which brought glory to the domestic medical science.
