The participants were greeted by the director of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in New Delhi, Fedor Rozovsky. The two best students in a solemn ceremony received the "Scholarship named after the former president of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam", established in 2015 by Rus Education.

Two other students were awarded the Druzhba Scholarship, established this year in memory of the outstanding Russian diplomat, after Russia in India Alexander Kadakin, who died suddenly in New Delhi on January 26 this year. The first fellows were Mehtub Kaur from Punjab and Kartik student from Haryana.

The documentary film "Rajya Sabha TV" in Hindi language, telling about the history of Russian-Indian cooperation in the field of education and culture, as well as giving detailed information on the advantages of modern Russian higher education and the procedure for admission to Russian universities was demonstrated to the participants of the grand meeting.
